JTK Consult, a multi-disciplinary consultancy of civil, structural and materials engineers, combines a philosophy and work culture that comes from over a decade of experience, bringing innovation to a wide diversity of projects.

JTK Consult was formed in 1997 as the Malaysian consultancy arm of Taywood Engineering, which was set up five years earlier as a fully owned subsidiary of Taylor Woodrow. In 2001, following an MBO Taywood Engineering merged with JTK Consult and today, from our office in Kuala Lumpur, we reach out to a wide spectrum of clients throughout the world.

Our priority is to provide consultancy services within an interactive construction environment to complement the existing strengths of our clients.

We are unique in providing Construction Technology related services to consultants, contractors and developers, mobilising our knowledge of materials technology, durability and environmental impact on the life cycle of structural components to engineer projects to achieve zero defects. These skills are also used to identify key maintenance issues which could become part of a facilities management provision. We are pioneers to incorporating sustainable principles in construction to achieve development outcomes that minimise environmental impacts, contribute to communities and deliver economic viability.

JTK Consult is led by directors who share between them more than 50 years of experience. Drawing on this combined knowledge and expertise and with a varied workforce that is highly qualified in their respective fields, we are committed to adding value to our clients throughout the whole design and construction process by assimilating the best technology into our professional services.
